Dolcie Faye Conner

CONNER, Dolcie Faye, 89, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Tuesday, November 11th, 2014. She was born in Bald Knob, WV and moved to Land O’ Lakes from Beckley, WV in 2011. Dolcie was a retired Principal and Elementary School Teacher. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Beckley and a member of the Madison Chapter of the Eastern Star. Dolcie is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Conner; parents, Mae Workman Price and Virgil Price; four brothers, Sheridan, Zenith, Darrel and Arthur H. Price. She is survived by her son, Fred W. Conner and his wife, Joann; daughter, Joyce E Conner-Eary and her husband, Darrel; six brothers, Dudley, Donald, Edward, Alton, Robert and Paul Price; five sisters, Charlotte Christman, Brenda Ferrell, Dot Meadows, Florine Ginther, Pauline LaBonte; six grandchildren, John and Shawn Conner, Dr. Holly Baab, Dr. Brooke Mueller, Clint and Andrew Conner and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 15 in Beckley, West Virginia at Calfee Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Beckley, WV.
