Ralph O. Lambert

LAMBERT, Ralph O. “Jack,” Jr., 76, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. He was born in Dante, Virginia and spent most of his adult life in Quincy, Massachusetts and in 2006 he settled in Florida. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for 10 years. Jack was a member of First Baptist Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida. He loved drawing and writing poetry. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who doted on his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, June M. Lambert. Jack is survived by his children, Edna Doyle and husband, Frank, Richard Lambert and partner, Alejandro Albo, Leah Shalna and husband, Gregory, Ralph O. “Jack” Lambert III, and Tanya O’Malley and husband, Michael; brother, Darrel Lambert and wife, Jan; sisters, Faye Lupo and Gaye Loman and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Danielle Nichols, Andrew Shalna, Amanda Shalna, Julie Doyle, Nicholas Shalna, Ashley Shalna, Matthew Shalna, Marisa Lambert, Joseph O’Malley, Kristina Lambert, and Christian O’Malley; and great grandson, Russell “R.J.” Nichols. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 12:30 P.M. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M.
