PRESCOTT, Vernon, 60, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away Monday, February 9, 2015. He was born in Tampa, Florida and moved to Live Oak from Wesley Chapel in 2003. He was an Air Conditioning Technician. He is preceded in death by his parents; Vernon and Lizzie Prescott and brother, Howard Truett. Vernon is survived by his sons, James Prescott and Randy McDaniels and wife, Kim; daughter, Kelly Prescott; brothers, Louis Prescott, Charles Truett, and Doyle Truett; sisters, Frances Parrish and husband, C.J., Betty Hunter, Inez Hoover, and Nellie DeLong and husband, Ted; grandchildren, Steven McDaniels, Krystal Prescott, James Prescott Jr., Marcus Jones, and Maliyah Jones; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
