Barbara Jenkins

JENKINS, Barbara, 80, of Tampa, Florida passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016. She was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and moved to Tampa from Dallas, Texas in 1992. Barbara was Miss South Dakota in 1954. She loved music; singing and dancing. She was a proud homemaker and she loved her family. Barbara also loved wine, popcorn, goldfish, and candy. She enjoyed playing bridge and bowling. Barbara enjoyed going on cruises and traveling the world. Barbara loved her phone and face timing with friends and family. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bud and sister, Betty. Barbara is survived by her husband of 58 years, Claude; two daughters, Renee and her husband Frank, Rhonda and her husband Stephen; two sons, Randy, Rich and his wife Galyna two brothers, Bob, Bill; two sisters, Bebe, Bev; nine grandchildren, Danielle, Candace, Erica, Casey, Jenni, Alexandra, Kendall, Kenzie, Katherine; seven great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Connor, Callie, Eva, Emma, Carter and Chase. A funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
