December 20th, 1929 - January 17th, 2022
Joseph Patrick Cody 92, of Lutz, Florida passed away on January 17, 2022. He was born in Roosevelt, New York and moved to Florida in 2002 to be closer with family. Joseph proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was Catholic in Faith and attended Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Joseph served with the New York City police department from 1958-1976 and then retired. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the horse races. Joseph loved to sit with his family and tell stories. He was a patriotic American and proud of his Irish Heritage. He is preceded in death by his wife Arline Joan Cody; survived by his four children, Stephen (Betina) Cody, Jeffrey (Laura) Cody, Robert (Kelli) Cody and Jacqueline (John) Regan and twelve grandchildren.
