Margaret Armstrong

TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS, Hello all; reading this means I have moved on to something new and certainly different. I was born in Evanston, Il on 9/6/1949 to the late Joseph and Marcella (Conley) Malloy. I lived in Chicago, Milwaukee, Stamford, Boston and, for most of my years, in Lutz, Fl. I had an amazing 37 years with my love, Richard Rambo Armstrong (deceased 1/11/2009). Nothing perfect, but in any of those years, I could get lost slow dancing with him. Lots of smiles, laughter, and great conversation. He was mine and I was his. He’d often say, “You’re my old lady.” I grew to appreciate and understand what that meant as we grew older together. I have amazing brothers and am grateful for each: The late Timothy J. Malloy and his wife, Patricia (Smid), (2 kids and 11 grandchildren). Thomas J. Malloy and his wife Linda (Quinterno), (3 kids and 6 grandchildren). Kevin C. Malloy and his wife Kerri (England), (2 kids). Also, a son Jason E. Armstrong and family. I graduated from Stamford Catholic High School, Emmanuel College in Boston and received an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. My career included working at J.C. Penney as a Bill Collector (which I hated), odd jobs in technology and then 23 years in IT Customer Service at Time Inc. I loved most of it, especially the many friendships I made. I am grateful for everyone in my life, and I hope when you think of me it brings a smile to your face. If you want to send flowers, or other gifts, send them to someone you love. The family will host a private celebration of life gathering at a later date.
