Hector “Tuty” Ortiz of Land O’ Lakes, Florida Passed away on January 5, 2023. He was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York and later retired in Florida in 1996. He was a Chemist for Union Carbide over 20 years. He loved to travel and go on cruises. Hector was very sociable and loved being with family and friends. He was a humble, honest soft-spoken man, he was a friend to all. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Maxine Ortiz. Two children, Suzette Rodriguez and Anthony Ortiz; four grandchildren, Xavier, Kim, Brianne and Sydney; one great grandchild, Lanize; one sister, Iris.
