May 21, 2023, Scott Alan Morgan, 54, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved husband Ray Webber by his side. Early that morning, the clouds lifted and the rays of sunshine ushered him to heaven. Scott was born in 1968, the son of Patricia Briggs Morgan and Alan Morgan. He was raised in the beautiful little town of Clinton, New York. In 1985, he, his mom and step dad re-located to Tampa, Florida where he graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1987. He went on to graduate from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in one of the first graduating classes specializing in Computer Pattern Making. After graduation, he moved to New York City where he began his career in the Fashion Industry. His positions offered him the opportunity to travel the world as a trainer, in a brand-new industry, where he worked with some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses. After decades in New York, Scott moved back to Tampa to be closer to family. He first met his partner Ray on January 22, 2016 when they caught each other’s attention and decided to go out on their first date. As Ray smiled from “ear to ear”, Scott said, it looked like Ray hit the jackpot. The next 6 years Scott & Ray spent their time teaching and learning from each other, constantly playing jokes and making fun of each other. They were best friends and a true power couple. Scott and Ray were two completely different types of people but when they put their minds together, they were unstoppable. Scott and Ray tied the knot on February 7, 2022, in a private ceremony in Hillsborough County Florida. They soon after became parents to a beautiful, sweet little miniature dachshund named Peanut. Scott loved Peanut with all his heart and always sent pictures of Peanut and himself daily to friends and family. Scott was an incredible man that wore his heart on his sleeve. He always tried to leave people in a better place than when he met them. He believed in spreading love and joy.. Scott is survived by his husband Ray Webber and their beloved canine companion Peanut. He is also survived by his mother Patricia Fanelli and her husband Ron Fanelli, his father Alan Morgan and his wife Debbie Morgan, his sister Renae Dombrowski and her husband Richard Dombrowski and their daughter Sydney Dombrowski, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by Ray’s family, his mother-in-law Joyce Webber and her husband Wayne Webber. His sister-in-law Crystal Webber, brother’s -in-law Charles Webber and Robert Webber and numerous nieces and nephews. Scott was loved by many and will be terribly missed. We love you Scott and thank you for the lives that you have touched with the short time you spent here. If anyone wants to make a donation in his name, the charity of his choice was the Wounded Warrior Project.
