November 26th, 1927 - July 31st, 2023
Hilda María Rivera, oldest of nine children and born to Agustín Victoria and Dolores Cheveres de Victoria in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. During her High School years, Hilda was crowned Miss Bayamon. She moved to New York City to marry her beloved husband, Luis O. Rivera in 1947. Hilda and Luis Oscar had three sons, Louis, Albert and Victor. Hilda and Luis Oscar are survived by their two (2) sons, Louis and Albert, nine (9) grandchildren, twelve (12) great-grandchildren, and three (3) great-great-grandchildren. Hilda lived and breathed LOVE each day of her life. She always opened her home with love and always provided you with food and friendship. There was no such thing as a stranger. Hilda loved life, her family, friends, and her beloved Isla del Encantó; Puerto Rico. Hilda's ministry of love is evident in the legacy she leaves behind.
