MITCHELL, Darla Jacqueline, 79, of Tampa, Fl passed away Monday, February 25, 2019. She was born in Wilkinsburg, PA and moved to Florida in 1996. Darla was a manager with Verizon. She worked at Saddlebrook and enjoyed playing golf; enjoyed game shows, slot machines, travel and cruises. Darla is survived by her husband David of 35 years; five children: Fred C. Smith (Anna), Jacquelyn Anderson (Adam), Doneen C. Hedrick (Don), Roger Mitchell (Beverly) and Monika Mitchell; sister: Betty Nawrocki; brother: Robert Evans (Ruth); 10 grandchildren: Benjamin, Andrew, Nicklaus, Christopher, Ryan, Kiersten, Emma, Carolyn, Peter, Joel and her beloved schnauzer, Kiefer. In lieu of flowers, donationas may be made to The Alzheimer’s Foundation. Words of comfort may be expressed for Darla's family by clicking “Add Condolence.”
