Willis J. "Jack" Williams, Jr., 81, of St. Petersburg transitioned December 20, 2020. He was born in Frackville, PA to the late Willis J. "Bill" Williams, Sr. and Elizabeth Pauly Williams. He was predeceased by his sister Marilyn Sadusky of Medford, NJ. He attended Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science graduating in 1961 as a Pharmacist. He lived in two other towns in Pennsylvania (Palmyra and Philadelphia) and in Maryland (Churchville and Bel Air). He owned his own pharmacy & gift shop in Churchville, Maryland until he and his family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1979. He spent the rest of his career managing pharmacies that supported long term care facilities until he retired in 2017. His passions were walking, sailing, traveling and playing golf. He and his wife had many adventures all over the world; they walked the Great Wall of China, hiked to Machu Picchu, drank ales in English pubs, sailed the Danube and Rhine Rivers, snowmobiled the Trail of the Wolves` in Yellowstone, went as missionaries to Cuba, jumped out of a plane at 70 years old, marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and more recently, he kept the beat for a group of retired musicians by playing the washboard. Jack was a dedicated husband and a source of happiness to his family. Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret "Peggy" Williams, his daughter Leslie Williams (Greg Hartung) of Winter Park, FL, his son Willis J. "Bill" Williams III of Largo, FL, his brother Michael Williams (Rose) of Indiana, PA and his beloved feline companion Baron "Mugsy" von Smushieface. Due to COVID, in lieu of a service, the family is asking for everyone to pause for fifteen minutes on Sunday, January 10, 2021, from Noon - 12:15 PM ET (his 82nd birthday) to recall how Jack impacted their lives. We believe if we all join in spirit together at the same time and pause to celebrate him, we will send a powerful thank you to the universe for this wonderful man who spent his life helping others. At 12:15 PM toast him with a glass of Yuengling beer.
