Patricia Jaquith
November 12th, 2021
Patricia Colton Jaquith, 84, passed away on November 12, 2021, following a brief illness. Born Patricia Ann Colton in Windsor, VT, Pat moved to Woodstock VT, at age 13 and was Woodstock High School's class valedictorian. She graduated from Katherine Gibbs school with honors. Pat married Edwin Jaquith in 1956; he died in 2010. Pat and Ed's lifelong love yielded four children: Grant (Rosemarie) Jaquith, Wendy (Tim) Griffin, Crystal Jaquith, and Amy (Robert) Itschner. Pat dedicated her life to Ed, their children, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many others she embraced as her own. She promoted and led children's activities as a band and athletic booster, Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader, and Sunday School teacher. She was an excellent seamstress and quilter, candlemaker, baker of wedding cakes, and genealogist. She was really fun—swimming, camping, Civil War reenacting, traveling far and wide, and exploring Disney World. Pat spent many hours in service at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church, where her memorial service will be held on Friday, November 19 @ 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice Foundation of America.
