Lucas Cole McGough
February 4th, 1991 - March 18th, 2024
Our beloved Lucas Cole McGough left us on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Lucas was born on February 4, 1991 to Wendy and Joseph McGough. He was a beautiful person with an abundance of charm and charisma. He always had a big, mischievous grin and sharp wit. Lucas was extraordinarily intelligent and graduated with an Associates degree in Engineering. He was passionate about current events and concerned about our society’s growing lack of empathy. He had a love for animals and volunteered his time at Big Cat Rescue. Lucas was happiest near the water. He loved fishing and telling stories. Once when he was three years old, a dolphin swam up to him thinking Lucas needed help. He loved his family and friends. Most of all, he loved his daughter, Jacquelyn. He fought tirelessly to be a part of her life and have a loving relationship. Lucas lit up the room with his energy and magnetism. He was loved by us all and will be missed deeply. Lucas is survived by his parents Wendy Morrison and Joseph McGough, his brother Shane Hodges, and daughter Jacquelyn Rose Calhoun and girlfriend Samantha Zeisloft. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Jed Foundation (JED), or your preferred mental health non-profit organization.
