Patterson, Alice "Nan" Elizabeth 97, died May 27, 2010, of natural causes. Mrs. Patterson was born July 9, 1912, in Brooklyn, N.Y to Leo and Mary McCue. She graduated from high school and married William Patterson. She moved to Miami, FL during WWII and made Saint Petersburg her home shortly thereafter. She worked for eighteen years as a cashier at Derby Lane Dog Track and attended Holy Family Catholic Church. Nan had a great sense of humor and enjoyed traveling and sharing stories with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her. Mrs. Patterson is survived by her grandsons Mark Fowler, Sean Fowler, Patrick Patterson, Mike Izzo and Danny Izzo; granddaughters Jill Davison (Jeff), Sue Izzo (Brian) and Laura Ryan; son-in-law Marchant Fowler, Jr. and wife Bobbie; and eight great-grandchildren. A visitation will begin at 10am with a service at 11am at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N., on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Burial to follow at Memorial Park
