Langsford, Nancy Elizabeth Liffin 82, of St. Petersburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2013. Born in Melrose, MA, and moved to St. Petersburg in 1967. She worked at Derby Lane as a Comptroller Secretary and later at Pirates Cove in Treasure Island. She enjoyed life, love, grandchildren and "My Girls!" She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Liffin; son, Michael R. Liffin and sister, Eileen Domay. Nancy is survived by her husband, James R. Langsford; four daughters, Kathleen (Steven) Fernald, Susan (Donald) Balas, Paula (Mark) Gwaltney and Joanne (Michael) Mallon; sister, Maureen Firkal; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Richard, James, Julie, Jennifer and Kris and 8 grandchildren. A service will be held at 11am on Monday, April 29th at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200 78th Ave. NE, St. Petersburg with inurnment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Catholic Charities, Diocese of St. Petersburg, Inc., Jeff Forbes Center, 1213 16th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33705.
