83, of St. Petersburg, passed away Friday, September 17, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and came here in 1998 from Middle Village, NY. He was a United States Army and Navy veteran who served in WWII as well as the Korean War . He was an avid baseball fan and was passionate about the NY Mets. He loved spending time with his family and was a devoted father and grandfather. He was an animal lover and his home was always open to his grand-pets. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carmen. He is survived by his daughters, Annette (William) Heilman of St. Petersburg, Sandra (Greg) Gonzalez of St. Petersburg, and Carmen (Bob) Gonzalez of New York, NY. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 2-5pm and from 7-9pm at Michael's Funeral Home in Middle Village, NY. Burial will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:30am at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
