Kimura, Earl Shigeru 92, of St. Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Born in Jacksonville Beach and moved to St. Petersburg in 1923. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School. He was a builder and superintendent for Frank Stumm homes. He was a Japanese American World War II Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris. Very loved by his family he is survived by his sons, Richard, Michael, and Kenneth; daughters, Judith Hall and Kendra Falvey; sisters, Flora Kawabata and Marion Osakada; brothers, Eugene and Robert Kimura; 11 grandchildren, Lucille Scherer, Richard Jr., Charles, Lynn, Michael Jr., Troy and Ryan Kimura including Theresa L. Putnam, David J. and Christopher Falvey, and Kenneth Kimura Jr. who reside in St. Petersburg; 14 great-grandchildren including Kimberley Weaver and Patrick McNamara Jr. who also reside in St. Petersburg. Mr. Kimura requested a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in his honor to All Children's Hospital.
