Warren, Irma Fayette 96, of St. Petersburg, died at home Friday, December 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by Allen J. Warren, her husband of 58 years and their son, Joseph A. Warren. Survivors include a daughter, Lt. Col. Judith N. Warren, USAF NC retired, of St. Petersburg; brothers James Myers of Hollywood, CA and Richard Myers of Modoc IN; and grandsons, David J. Warren and Thomas L. Warren of Elberton, GA. She was born in Winchester, KY on June 18, 1914 to Kirby and Flora Myers. She resided in Indiana until 1978 when the family moved to St. Petersburg. She loved to crochet, quilt, cook, grow African violets, nurture the family pets and manage all things in general. She was the oldest of eleven children (6 brothers and 4 sisters) and was regarded as the family matriarch. She will be remembered for her generosity, her laugh, her smile and a marvelous sense of humor. There will be no services at her request. Inurnment will occur at the family cemetery in Indiana at a future time. The family would like to thank the staff of the Suncoast Hospice for their kindness and assistance. Donations to Suncoast Hospice, the ASPCA of Largo, or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
