Jackson, Harriet Rogers (Mrs. J) 93, of St. Petersburg, died Monday, March 3, 2014. Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, her family moved to St. Petersburg in 1940. She was a 70 year member of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and a charter member of the Caravel Chapter. She was co-owner of Bill Jackson's Shop for Adventure with her late husband of 67 years, Bill Jackson, and their sons. She is survived by sons Darry and Doug (Sharon), and granddaughters Meischa and Marieka. A graveside service will be held at Royal Palm South Cemetery on March 17, 2014 at 10 AM. Donations may be made in Harriet's name to DAR-Caravel Chapter c/o BB&T Bank, 7100 4th St. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33702 or Tampa Bay Watch.
