September 26th, 1922 - April 26th, 2014
Torrisi, Richard "Dick" 91, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, April 26, 2014. Born in Highland Park, NJ, he lived in St. Petersburg for many years. He was a Navy veteran having served during WWII. He played the trumpet and was a member of St. Petersburg Community Band. As an avid golfer he was a longtime member of St. Petersburg Country Club and also a life member of the Elks. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Anita; daughter, Karen; brothers, Joseph and Victor (Sue); niece, Laura (Bill) Biel and nephews, Casey and Alex. A service will be held at 3:30pm on Thursday, May 1st at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Suncoast Hospice.
