Schultz, Elizabeth B "Betsy" 78, of St. Petersburg, died February 19, 2011. Born in Detroit MI, she moved to Florida in 1960. She was a graduate of the class of 1951 of the Academy of the Sacred Heart, Grosse Pointe, MI and attended the University of Michigan. She was employed as an X-Ray Technician before becoming a full time homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Frances Burnett and her brother David Burnett. Survivors include brothers, Allan Burnett (Sandy), Bruce Burnett (Diane), sister Mary Frances Hyduk (Dennis). Her six children, Suzie McAree, Sally Ovitt (Mike), Bruce Schultz (Beth) Bobby Schultz (Gabe) Kathy Brenner (Dean) and Steve Schultz (Jen), 12 grandchildren and former husband and friend Bob Schultz. A Mass will be held at 10am on Thursday, Feb. 24th at St. Patrick's Catholic ChurchIn lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to the SPCA of Tampa Bay www.spcatampabay..org or the Suncoast Hospice Foundation www.thehospicefoundation.org.
