Watson, Tom (Arthur) Jr., 77, of St. Petersburg passed away, August 20, 2014 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was raised in Grosse Pointe, MI and moved to Tierra Verde, FL in 1999. Tom resided in downtown St. Petersburg for the last 6 yrs. Tom graduated from GMI with degrees in industrial and mechanical engineering. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1998. Tom was always a fun loving person with a contagious laugh. He was married to Nancy, his wife, for 45 yrs. and she loved him with all her heart. They lived life to its fullest and traveled the world. Tom had many passions in life including bridge, flying, cycling, boating, and getting together with friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; brothers Jack and Jim; sisters-in-law Julie Dodge and Cheryl Olson, 12 nieces and nephews JoAnne, Richard, Cherene, Charles , Julie, Jennette, Vince, Cassandra, Megan, Katlynn, Angelina, and Lauren. A Church service will be held at Pass-A-Grille Beach Community Church on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
