Howrigan, Calvin D., 74, of Palmetto, FL, died Sunday February 6, 2000 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton. Born in Colchester, Vermont he moved to Palmetto in 1997 from Panama City, FL. He was an electrical engineer in radio and television and served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the Optimist Club and Chamber of Commerce in Panama City, FL. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Frances C.; one son, Randy A., Palmetto, FL; and one daughter, Dena E. Howrigan, Clearwater, FL. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
