Rowe, Rutland, 74, of St. Petersburg, died Monday Feb. 21, 2000 at home. Born in Jackson, Miss., he came here in 1956 from Evergreen, Alabama. He was a banker and real estate developer. He served in the Army during WWII and was a protestant. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the University of Alabama and a Graduate of Tulane University. He was a member of the Suncoasters, the Dragon Club, the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, and the Boston Club of New Orleans. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Peggy L.; one cousin, Betty Bussey, St. Petersburg. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
