Letterman, James L., Sr. ?Jim?, 66, of St. Petersburg, died Friday June 30, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Marshfield, Missouri, he came here in 1975 from Kansas City, Missouri where he had been a teacher at various schools. Locally, he was a substitute teacher for the Pinellas County School System. He held a Masters Degree in English, History and Political Science. He is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Sikytadrew and one son, James L., Jr., both of Joplin, Missouri; two companions, Kenneth Peterson and Merwin Bailey, both of St. Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
