Goheen, Robert M, 82, of St. Petersburg, FL died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday July 19, 2000. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1922 from his native Pottsville, PA. He retired as a Lt. Col. from the Army Air Force. He was a decorated WWII combat pilot who earned air medals flying the Himalayian ?Hump?. He was also a retired mechanical engineer with a local utility company. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of St. Petersburg, the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, the Squires Club, the Retired Military Officers Association, and the Bonanza Society. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Norma; one son, Grant, St. Petersburg, FL; one daughter, Marsha Tanner, Flagler Beach, FL; and four grandchildren: Navy Jag Lt. Carmel Tanner and Lisa Tanner, both of Oahu, Hawaii; and Lindsay and Jonathan Goheen, both of St. Petersburg, FL.
