Palermo, John Michael, Jr. ?Jack,? 75, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday August 27, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Patchogue, NY, he came here in 1957 from Long Island, NY. He was a self-employed Financial Consultant in Financial Planning. He served in the Army during WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He was a member of the Pinellas Park DAV Chapter 91, American Legion Post #357, the VFW and was Catholic. Survivors include two sons: John M, III, Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and Jim, Glendale, Arizona; one daughter, Terri Palermo, New Port Richey, FL; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two nieces. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL 33770. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-McLeod Chapel, St. Petersburg.
