Govoni, Clyde M., 60, of St. Petersburg, died Monday September 11, 2000 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg. Born in Brockton, MA, he came here in 1978 from Randolph, MA. He retired in 1992 from Amoco Oil Company in Belleair, where he worked as an auto mechanic. He was a Roman Catholic. He was an avid sports fan, and his greatest love was racecars. Survivors include four daughters, Tamara Donahue of Middleboro, MA, Leah Govoni of Brockton, MA, Kim Govoni of Hanover, MA, and Michelle Govoni of Whitman, MA, one step-son, Charles Blomgren of Stillwater, OK, six step-daughters, Cathy Sommer and Dorothy Brin both of Seminole, FL, Terrie Miller and Tina Williams both of Largo, FL, Barbara Lemongelli of Old Town, FL, and Kim Doty of Carson City, NV, and 21 grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday Sept. 16 10a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd, Largo, FL 33774.
