April 10th, 1918 - October 2nd, 2000
Corder, Donald E. ?Don,? 82, of St. Petersburg, died Monday October 2, 2000 at Hospice House, Woodside. He came here in 1940 from his native Findlay, OH. He retired from the St. Petersburg Police Department in 1971. He worked at Derby Lane as a security guard and was also a process server for the Pinellas Juvenile Court for eleven years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1145 and a Charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3658. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Peggy A.; one brother, Cleo F. Corder, Daggett, CA; one daughter, Darlene S. Lewis, St. Petersburg; one son, William H. ?Bill? Epeards, St. Petersburg; and three grandchildren: Lee Parker, Largo, FL; Wesley Sloat and Shawn Reardon, both of St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 E. Bay Dr., Largo, FL 33770.
