Herrig, Lorraine M., 91, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, November 8, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, she came here in 1976 from Wichita, Kansas. She was a retired registered nurse having worked in Veterans Administration Hospitals. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Holy Family Women?s Guild. She attended the University of Iowa, St. Ambrose University, and received her nursing degree from Mercy Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. She was also a member of the American Nurses Association and past president of the Sinawik Club in St. Petersburg. Survivors include 2 daughters, Linda Price of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jane Mullen of Springfield, Virginia; 1 son, Brent Herrig of Califon, New Jersey; 1 brother, Lester Consamus of Davenport, Iowa; 1 sister, Lucille Strabley of Rock Island, Illinois; and 4 grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center?Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
