99, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, June 17, 2011. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and he moved here in 1967. He graduated from Cooper Union and was a member of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in WWII and the Korean War. He was a past Commander of the St. Petersburg Power Squadron. He is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Jere Eddy, St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Patricia (Richard) Gritman, Sequim, WA, and their children, Erika (Kevin) Long and Kurt Gritman; daughter, Clare (Jim) Noonan, Denver, CO, and their sons Terrence and Christopher Noonan; and two great grandchildren, Cassandra Sophia and Aidan Long.
