Loyd, Charles H., Jr., 80, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday February 13, 2001 at home. Born in East St. Louis, IL, he came here in 1975 from Lockport, IL. He served in the Army during World War II. He retired from General Motors in Willow Springs, IL as General Foreman Assembly Plant. He was an avid golfer. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Bernice of St. Petersburg, his stepsister, Florence Edwards of Wisconsin and winter resident of Lake Panasoffee, FL, three nieces, three nephews and several cousins. Memorial Contributions to: Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL 33770. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel, St. Petersburg.
