Miller, Catherine H., of St. Petersburg, and formerly of Arcadia, FL, died Monday March 5, 2001 at St. Anthony?s Hospital in St. Petersburg after a long illness. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she came here in 1991 from Lakeland, FL. She had retired as a clerk from Autoway Formerly Sutherland Toyota in Pinellas Park, FL. Mrs. Miller loved children, pets, and arts and crafts. At the time of her death, she was a participant in a clinical trial for The National Cancer Research Institute. Survivors include her husband, R. Steven of St. Petersburg, her son, Alex, her daughter, Jeanne, mother, Marie Hooper of Acworth, GA, two sisters, Mary Noel of Canton, OH and Ruby Whisler of Acworth, GA, three brothers, James Hooper of Kennesaw, GA, Randell Hooper, Jr. of The Dalles, OR, and Eugene Hooper of Acworth, GA. Preceded in death by her brother, Arron Daniel Hooper of Mobile, AL in 1965 and her father, Randell L. Hooper, Sr. of Dallas, GA in 1999.
