Heitz, Mary L., 84, formerly of 611 Plum Street S., St. Petersburg, died Tuesday March 27, 2001. Born in Climax, GA, she came here in 1946 from Jacksonville, FL. She was a homemaker. She attended the 1st Baptist and Central Christian Churches in St. Petersburg. Survivors include her son, Sam Connell of Des Moines, Iowa, two granddaughters, Stephanie Connell and Jennifer Dowling both of Washington, D.C. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Central Christian Church, 4824 ? 2nd Avenue S., St. Petersburg 33711. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes-Bobbitt Chapel, St. Petersburg.
