Covalt, Bessie M., 94, of St. Petersburg, FL., and formerly of Lansing, MI., died Tuesday April 24, 2001. Born in Beaver Fall. PA, she came to St. Petersburg, FL in 1966 from Lansing, Michigan. Mrs. Covalt retired as a teacher in the education field in Zelienople, PA. She was a Lutheran and loved to play cards. Survivors include her daughter, Margery A. Lubbers of Savannah, GA, her sister, Anne Smith of Pittsburgh, PA, four nieces and one nephew. Entombment will be at Zelienople Cemetery in Zelienople, PA. Northern funeral home, Boylan, 324 East Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel, 7820-38th Avenue N., St. Petersburg.
