January 24th, 1921 - April 30th, 2001
Sotolongo, Leglio, M.D., of St. Petersburg, died Monday April 30, 2001 at home. Born in Cuba, he came here in 1962. He was a Pediatrician and on the staff of St. Anthony?s Hospital, All Children?s Hospital and Bayfront Medical Center for twenty- eight years before retiring in 1996. He was an Honorary Member of the Pinellas County Medical Society. He was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Teresa; one daughter, Carmen T. Kelley, Key Largo; two sons: Leglio E. and Jorge, both of St. Petersburg; two brothers and two sisters; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family requests donations may be made to All Children?s Hospital, 801-6th St. S., St. Petersburg, FL 33701; The Ronald McDonald House, 401-7th Ave. S., St. Petersburg, FL 33701; or The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 E.
