Hamisak, Michael V. ?Mike?, 52, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday May 17, 2001 at St. Anthony?s Hospital of cardiac arrest. Born in Girard, Kansas, he came here in 1973 from Emporia, Kansas. He has been a material manager in the Space Guidance and Navigational Products Defense and Space Systems Department at Honeywell in Clearwater for the past 28 years. He served in the National Guard in Kansas and was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Nancy C. Hamisak, his mother, Lucy Hamisak of St. Petersburg, 2 sons, Lorin Hamisak and Damon Hamisak, both of St. Petersburg, 2 sisters, Virginia Hamisak of LaGrange, Illinois and Carole Hartong of Pittsburg, Kansas, and a brother, Patrick Hamisak of Springfield, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Tampa BayWatch, 8401-9th Street North, Suite 230B, St. Petersburg, FL 33702.
