Carroll, Gertrude Elizabeth ?Betty?, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday May 23, 2001 at the Laurels Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in New Orleans, LA, she came here in 1968 from Mt. Clemens, MI. She was a homemaker and Catholic. Survivors include a daughter, Mary V. Watkins, St. Petersburg; a son, Alfred Scogna, St. Petersburg, FL; and four grandchildren: Jaime and Christopher Watkins, and Steven and Allen Scogna, all of St. Petersburg. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel - St. Petersburg.
