Grant Tarbell

Tarbell, Grant, 86, of St. Petersburg, died Friday August 3, 2001 at the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center. Born in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, he was a St. Petersburg resident from 1960 ? 1982 and returned here in February from Tenino, Washington. He was a merchant mariner. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Anna Tarbell, a daughter, Helen Elena Tarbell of St. Petersburg, 2 sons, Vilito Castro-Lopez and Edward Tarbell, both of San Jose, Costa Rica, 3 stepsons, Robert Larson and Ronald Larson, both of Seattle, Washington and Gene Larson of Miles City, Montana, a grandson, James Hubbell of St. Petersburg and a granddaughter, Kristin Mihoci of St. Petersburg.
