McIntyre, Weston J., 72, of St. Petersburg, died Friday August 24, 2001. Born in Jackson, MS, she came here 1937 from Jackson. She attended the Sunshine School, St. Pete Beach, North Ward School, St. Petersburg High School, St. Petersburg. She also attended the University of Kentucky and was a member of the Alpha-Delta Pi. She was columnist for the St. Petersburg Times, which included the Inquiring Reporter, World of Weston Column, and Society Editor. She was also the food editor for the ?Floridian? magazine, a columnist for ?Whos News?, and a society writer for the Mandeville, LA ?News Banner?. She was Baptist. She was also a long distance cruiser, she made the ?Great Circle? cruise which involves going around the eastern half of the US. The voyage took almost five months and at one point 125 miles north of Toronto, Canada. She was a member of the Junior League, a Webb City Poster Girl, and a Chamber of Commerce Information Specialist. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, W. Scott McIntyre, Jr.; two sons, William Steven Ermatinger of New Port Richey, and William Albert Ermatinger, Jr., of Naples; two daughters, Leslie Ermatinger Gunther and Laurie Ermatinger Copeland, both of St. Petersburg; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and a cousin, Suzzane Hannah Wright. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center?9th Street Chapel, St. Petersburg. In Lieu of Flowers ? Contributions to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 1839 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33713. Donations will be acknowledged. The memorial service is schedule for Tuesday, August 28, at 5:30 PM at Northeast Presbyterian Church, 4400 Shore Acres Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL
