Gordon, Rob G., 71, of St. Petersburg, died Monday October 8, 2001 at home. Born in Cartersville, Georgia, he came here in 1985 from Washington, D.C. He was an assistant director of Services to Veterans at the American Red Cross National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. for 17 years, retiring in 1985. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Lions Club in Griffin, Georgia, the Knights of Columbus in Virginia and Florida, the Suncoast Unit of the American Red Cross Retirees in St. Petersburg, and Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Robert C. Gordon of St. Petersburg, a daughter, Suzanne G. Fiorenza of Largo, Florida, a sister, Catherine O?Malley of Meterie, Louisiana, 2 grandsons, Robby and Michael, and several nieces and nephews.
