Barton, Jack Elvin, of Seminole, FL, died Wednesday October 17, 2001 at home. Born in Corry, PA, he came to Florida in 1967 from Erie, PA. He retired from GTE in Tampa, FL, after being employed for forty years as Executive Management. He was a veteran in the Army during World War II, and was a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Betty J. of Seminole, FL, his son, Jack E. II of New Port Richey, FL, three daughters, Colleen Barton of Portola Valley, CA, Marcy Barton of Palo Alto, CA, and Cheryl Barton of San Francisco, CA, daughter in law, Sheila Barton, New Port Richey, FL, sons in law, Larry Tesler of Portola Valley, CA and Carl Orensky, New Port News, VA, granddaughter, Zeta Barton, New Port Richey, FL, grandsons, Eliah Barton, New Port Richey, FL, Aaron Orensky of Palo Alto, CA, Ian and Courtney Orensky both of Richmond, VA. The family will hold Private service at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to: The Hospice of Florida Suncoast, 11701 S. Belcher Rd, Largo, FL.
