Aida Helen Nestoff
November 12th, 1929 - January 16th, 2002
Nestoff, Aida Helen ?Ivy?, 72, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday January 16, 2002 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she came here in 1948 from Detroit. She was a beautician who worked in Ruth?s Fashion Corner at Central & 4th Street for five years before opening Pete & Ivy?s Hairstylists in 1963 with her husband which is located at 10th Avenue & 4th Street North. She was a member and past president of the Florida Cosmetology Association, a member of the National Cosmetology Association, was president of the Hair Fashion Committee from 1976-1977 and competed in national and world styling and cutting competitions. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Peter Nestoff, a son, Peter A. Nestoff of Pinellas Park, a daughter, Ivy Nestoff Lukasik of St. Petersburg, and a step-brother, Walter Kurz of Detroit, Michigan.
