August 26th, 1930 - February 7th, 2002
Bachelder, Richard Trayers ?Dick?, of Largo, died Thursday February 7, 2002 at Largo Medical Center. Born in Portland, Maine, he came here in 1995 from Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was the owner and operator of an answering service in Weymouth for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Weymouth. He was a member of Knights of Columbus in Quincy, Massachusetts, was president of the New England Association of Telephone Answering Services, and a former member of the Weymouth Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Margaret L. Bachelder, a son, Kevin R. Bachelder of Scituate, Massachusetts, 2 daughters, Mary Ellen Chaney of Hull, Massachusetts and Ann L. Bunszell of Abington, Massachusetts, 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Largo Chapel.
