Kathern "Kitty" Adele Kotulick
September 8th, 1920 - July 6th, 2011
Kotulick, Kathern A. 90, died Wednesday July 6, 2011 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida from a heart attack. Mrs. Kotulick was the widow of Michael Kotulick, formerly of Manassas, VA. Mrs. Kotulick, known by her family and friends as "Kitty", was born September 8, 1920 in Bristersburg, VA to the late David and Roberta Bettis. She was the youngest of eight children. She grew up in the Fredricksburg, VA area and later lived in Washington, DC, Northern VA, and St. Petersburg, FL. Kitty worked as a waitress for many years and then later as a Crossing Guard for Prince William County. She was an avid bowler, and loved to travel with her friends on the Blue Bird Bus, as well as speak of all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her four children, Ann Humphries of Hebron, MD, Jean Ellis and her husband Guy of Panama City Beach, FL, John Kotulick and his wife Janet of St. Petersburg, FL, Wanda Rice and her husband Gary of Ft. Valley, VA. 12 Grandchildren: Dale & Jeff Main, Lisa Madigan and her husband Mark, Tina Wilson and her husband Stephan, Craig Violett, Dana Lederer and her husband Don, Jackie Humphries, Bryan Rice and his wife Nicole, Kelly & Gary Rice, Michael Kotulick, & Brandon Lee. 13 Great-grandchildren: Teryl & Katrina Main, Branden Henson and his wife Jessica, Billy and Alyssa Stynes, Stephanie, Emily, & Jarrett Wilson, Amanda, Kevin, & Emily Lederer, and Brayden & Dakota Rice. One Great great-granddaughter: 1 year-old, Alexa Jay Henson. Family will receive friends at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. Martin Luther King St. N., St. Petersburg, FL on Wednesday morning July 13th from 10am -11am. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing at the same location. Mrs. Kotulick will then be flown to Virginia. Interment will take place at 11am on Friday, July 15th at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, Virginia.
