Spellman, Joseph H., of St. Petersburg, died Sunday April 21, 2002. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, he came here in 1978 from Manhattan, Kansas. He retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army in 1971 having served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was Catholic. His many memberships include: the 24th Infantry Division Association; the Association of the U.S. Army; Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels; and lifemember of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include two daughters: Diana Wilkerson, Aurora, CO; and Nancy Joy Jones, Clinton, NC; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-McLeod Chapel.
