Gaunt, William E., Sr. ?Bill,? 80, of Pinellas Park, died Tuesday July 9, 2002 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. Born in St. Joseph, MO, he came here in 1992 from Whiting, NJ. He was a District Sales Manager with Swift and Company in New York, NY from 1940 until his retirement in 1985. He was veteran of the U. S. Air Force during WWII. He was a former Scout Master in New Jersey. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a Lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, and the V.F.W. of Pinellas Park. He was a member of Holy Name Society, the Mended Hearts Society of Pinellas Park, and worked for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret T. Gendreizig, St. Petersburg; two sons: Joseph W. Gaunt, Lunenburg, Mass.; and William E. ?Bill? Gaunt, Jr., Guilford, CT; six grandchildren; and one great grandson. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 21203, St. Petersburg, FL 33742.
