Martha Crowe McIntyre
October 25th, 1914 - October 24th, 2002
McIntyre, Martha Crowe, 87, of St. Petersburg and formerly of Seminole, died Thursday Oct. 24, 2002 at Palm Shores of St. Petersburg Retirement Center under the care of the Hospice. Born in Throg?s Neck, Bronx, NY, she attended Hunter college and was a homemaker. She was an Army wife stationed in many places in the southeast U.S. as well as in Panama prior to moving to Seminole where she lived for over forty years. She was a member of the former Bath Club at Redington Beach and belonged to the ?Georges? Girls? exercise club. She was a Grey Lady volunteer at various Army hospitals and a long term volunteer at All Children?s Hospital. She was a Catholic and one of the founding members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seminole. Survivors include a son, Thomas McIntyre and a daughter, Patricia Salmon, both of St. Petersburg; a brother, Capt. John Crowe, U.S.N. Ret. Dunedin, FL; a granddaughter, Elizabeth LaGrua of New York and a grandson, Michael LaGrua, Tierra Verde, FL. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-McLeod Chapel.
