Susan Frances Sutterlin of St. Petersburg, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, March 1, 2015. She graduated from Northeast High School and from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Susan was active in Venetian Isles Homeowner's and Crime Watch Associations. She also worked with the American Red Cross for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Raphael Church. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick John and Marie Montile Sutterlin. She is survived by her son, Matthew Sutterlin; boyfriend, Joe Short; sister, Rebecca (Bernard) Doubler; brother, Frederick (Sandra) Sutterlin; niece, Jennifer (Michael) Baugh; nephews, Billy (Stephanie) Sutterlin and Steven (Mary) Sutterlin and 8 great-nieces and nephews, and cousin, Lynn Marie Tamblyn. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd NE, St Petersburg, FL 33704 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M.
