Barnhardt, Lawrence, C., ?Larry? ?Barney?, 78, of Seminole died Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at home under care of Hospice. He came here in 1954 from his native Spencer, North Carolina. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked for Trico Electric Supplies, Inc. as a Warehouse Supervisor until he retired. He was Baptist. He was a member of St. Petersburg Masonic Lodge #139 and a member of the American Legion. He was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Neighborly Senior Services. Survivors include one daughter Janet Barnhardt Hickey of Alexandria, Virginia, three sisters Virginia Smith, Estelle Wilson both of Linwood, North Carolina and Ethlyn Kearns of Greensboro, North Carolina and companion Nita Bennett of Seminole, 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren and 7 Great-great Grandchildren. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes 9th Street Chapel St. Petersburg.
